Another social bookmarking site that I use is MyLinkVault. You can view the XRIOT MYLinkVault bookmarks. What is unique about MyLinkVault is the layout of the links. They place them in nice modules and can stack a number of them on a page. Meaning there are links placed nicely above the fold when people come to visit. The visual appeal is very strong with the web site. Additionally, a visitor’s eye can go to their most interesting category, rather than running down a random list of links. The long list of links being what most social bookmarking sites provide. Sometimes the links will be categorized, but no one does it like MyLinksVault.

Social bookmarking sites also have three categories from which they provide the opportunity to provide links from toolbar buttons. These are the add link buttons. The first is a pop-up format. A small window pops up with much of the information already populated in the window and you just modify what you want to submit as a link- name, URL, categories, tags, public or private, etc. The other is a redirect with a new web page and web site coming up in the current window with pre-populated information awaiting modification. After submitting, one is redirected to the newly added web page or a successfully completed page with a chance to go to the newly added page. The other is a redirect but does not pre-populate, meaning that one has to add all information manually. MyLinksVault chooses to use the second format- the redirected pre-populated. It is nice because when adding many pages it doesn’t take but seconds to add each web page.
